604 paramore sessions

Image
Dropped in for a little chill session in the catacombs of the Yeti.  It was a really good night of conversation, black lights, and some really good chill tunes from the Topeka crew, better known as 666 ZipCode Town Rekkids. view more photos from this event

phukbed house party

Image
A bit of an invite only fund-raising event for local promoters PhukBed Entertainment. We didn't stay very long, but it was good time, and the population swelled to capacity, and then some. view more photos from this event

happy muff day 2

Image
A fun little double birthday party for DJ cQuence and a friend. The little House Party was apparently the second of its kind. It is too bad I missed the first one. view more photos from this event

footloose

Image
I was invited to a high school performance of Footloose, so decided to take a few photos, and make a few notes. The notes were lost; something to do with a contrast to the rave culture and all that. dj hyper bedrock cd/record release tour

Image
After playing as the opening act for the Delta Heavy Tour earlier in the year, DJ Hyper was passing back through on his own Bedrock CD/Record Release Tour, and stopped in for night. While there was not a huge turnout, it was a Wednesday night in Kansas City after all. Anyone lucky enough to be out got a real treat, and a flashback to the show early in the year. view more photos from this event

after halloween at checkpoint

Image
After the all night festivities surrounding Halloween, the last stop of the day was at Igor's Checkpoint Charlie.  A nightcap was in order, and there was no better bartender to obtain that particular concoction from than Boo LaCrosse. I don't  recall the name of the band that was playing that early AM, but it seems like they were somebody important.  I recall they were there getting in some practice time before a greater gig.  For some reason Ben Folds Five sticks in my head, but I can't be for certain.  Take a look at the photos below and see if you recognize anyone. there are no more photos from this event
