Another place that I could not be until later in the night, was this fun little ravy wavy event out in Independence.  Joe took over photographing this one until I get there, and I did get there, along with a lot of others that came for the after party.  The night featured Breakbotix vs Game, Xan Lucero vs Mike Scott vs Atom Bryce, along with Sydeburnz, Edenflux, Malcolm vs Velvin, and KTHMP vs Dan Palmer vs Jon NuSkool ... all night long into the new year out at the Knights of Pythias. photos by Joe mostly, with support from Todd later in the night view more photos from this event

After stopping in at a few other places, I finally made my way to a fun and fantastic night at Kabal. The DeepFix krewe was hosting this year, with a full night of Lawnchair Generals, along with support from Pat Nice.  It was a fun night, and they had the dance floor groovin all night long. view more photos from this event

Chakra had a great line-up for New Year's Eve, featuring Dave Brock, Greg Zoi, Alan Paul, Sydeburnz, Blue, Aaron Mack, Suisse, and Tim Hjersted.  I couldn't be in two places at once though, so Kourtney took almost all of the photos that night.  I did stop in long enough to wish her and them a great night, and took a handful of photos, but then I was on my way to other destinations.   view more photos from this event

While down at the lake, we wandered up to the local spot for a little music from a band called Split Image. They were pretty good, playing some of the covers, and people actually got around and danced a little. view more photos from this event

Got an invite to a little party with the kidz down in MidTown, so dropped by for a little whirlwind tour through the house.  I ended up staying longer than I intended, but good times and good people prevailed.  Mage, Frooky, 4-Star, Bob O vs Dan P, Johnny Scott and Matt "Heaven" rounded out this night   It all went downhill when I left though.  A thug making their way down the street on word of a party going on nearly got himself bloodied, when he thought he was going to share his general state of discontent.  My crowbar and I encouraged him to share it along elsewhere. view more photos from this event

Steve Thorell and Bill Pile were kicking off a new night, and with things not so interesting at the Boom Mod Masquerade, we dropped in here for a little while to give things a chance to get going. We never left here to find out though.  It was too much fun. view more photos from this event
