The moment everyone had been waiting for finally arrived.  The biggest dance music event Kansas City had witnessed kicked off with a line at the door and everyone dress to impress, or dressed to rave and rave hard.

Spearheaded by u:Move and local radio station, 96.5 The Buzz, the event was a massive effort of collaboration between promoters throughout the region, featuring some of the biggest names in the business.

It was a night to remember, even if you were not in any capacity to remember, it was impossible to forget.

Headlining the night on the main stage, included Green Velvet, Icey, Rap, with support from locals c-Vaughn, a local personality from 96.5 The Buzz, and House Music standard DJ Paul Wicked on the main stage.

In other rooms throughout the Uptown, local krews from around the region set up shop to showcase the talent from their city.  Syde-show represented Topeka with their line-up of talent featuring Greg Zoi vs Suisse, Andrew Boie vs DJ Synnister, RJ Bass vs Rob Lee and Nasty Nate.  Boogie Knights from St Louis traveled out with Bodaleg, Trevor Matthews, Gadget, Ion, and D.A.R.B.  Phul Phunk, down from Omaha, featured Zak C, Wizzo, Kaoss, Myth, and James Ehrman.  More locals from Local Kansas City krewe Deepfix Records brought Pat Nice, Tony Markham vs Johnny Tremain, along with Mike Powell and DJ Bounce and Drumlock; meanwhile Blueskiez showcased the talent of DJ Skiez, M&M, Nutt-E, Hefty Jef, and Shaun Flo.
